Early Long Black Friday Deal
Pack of 10 Casuarina cones similar to alder cones with less tannins and many pores in which shrimplets may hide and feed on biofilm
PRODUCT INFO
Casuarina is a plant native to Southeast Asia and Oceania.
We learned after some investigation and testing in our tank that these little cones have been used in the hobby for years, similar to Alder cones but with fewer tannins. They're bigger and softer than alder cones, having more pores on the surface. Shrimps devour them with a greater hunger than Alder Cones, also Casuarina cones tend to last longer than alder and breaks down more slowly.

Boil all botanicals for 60 minutes to remove germs, dirt, and debris. Allow your botanicals to soak in dechlorinated, ro or aquarium water overnight before placing them in the aquarium.
